Who is eligible for Indian Army TES 50th Course

To participate in 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme-50 Course 2024, first check the eligibility criteria which have been set by the Indian Army which are as follows.

  • Applicant should be an Indian Citizen.
  • The age group of the contestant should not be less than 16.5 years and more than 19.5 years.
  • The applicant must not have been born before 2 July 2004 or must have been born after 1 July 2007.
  • Applicant must have passed 10+2 physics, chemistry, and mathematics exam with at least 60% marks.
  • The applicant must have participated in JEE (Main) 2023.
  • Applicant must be medically and physically fit.
  • There should not be any court case pending against the applicant.

Vacancies released by Indian Army for TES 50 Course

As of now Indian Army has released only 90 vacancies under TES-50 Course. Vacancies are provisional and may be changed based on requirement. Training for this course is subject to the capacity of posts in the training academy.

Selection Method of Indian Army TES 50th Course

Candidates will have to go through two selection stages and candidates will be rejected if they fail in one stage. Indian Army TES 50th Course Selection procedure is as follows:

  • 1. Shortlisting Candidates: First of all, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks submitted in the application form and cut off will be released. After this, details about center allotment will be sent to the selected contestant on their registered email address. After this, SSB interview dates are allotted to the candidates.
  • 2.SSB interview: SSB Interview will conduct the interview of shortlisted candidates with Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing officer. Call letter for SSB interview will be sent to the candidates by selection centers through email and SMS. For 5 days TES 50 Course SSB Interview will be held for shortlisted aspirants.
  • 3. Medical Examination: If candidates are selected after Stage 2 SSB Interview, they will have to undergo medical examination.
  • 4. Commandment of Joining Letter: Those candidates who qualify in the medical exam will also be issued joining letter by Indian Army.

Training Cost and Period

Selected candidates will be trained in 3 technical institutes which include CME, MCTE, and MCEME. Training period will be of 5 years for all the candidates which includes basic military training and technical training. The training fee for each candidate is Rs. 13940/- as they have to stay in Officers Training Academy, Gaya/Cadet Training wing for the training period.

  • Class 12th original Marksheet.

Note: About 30 minutes after submitting the online application, download the application form with roll number. While filling the application form, it is necessary that the applicants mention their exact scored percentage of 10th and 12th.
