With liberalization, the CAB did a commendable job of reinventing itself and offering a wide range of programmes, geared to meet the capacity building needs of the banking sector and, indeed, the financial system. As a result, today, traditional programmes on agricultural and rural development and cooperative banking, Training of Trainers, SME and Agribusiness, etc., co-exist with programmes on subjects of contemporary relevance such as ICT for Financial Inclusion, IT Security and Audit, IT Project Management, Management Development, Development Centre, State Finances and Human Development, Asset Securitisation, Risk Management and Basel II, among others. The CAB has hosted/in the process of hosting programmes on Financial Risk Management and Advanced Derivatives in collaboration with leading international experts, besides conducting programmes on Off-Site Surveillance and Asset Liability Management for banks in SAARC, ASEAN and APRACA sponsored countries. As a world class institution in pursuit of its efforts towards continuous innovation and improvement, the College has put in place, a quality process system as per ISO standards.
