The academic activities of the CAB are carried out under the overall guidance of the College Advisory Committee (CAC). Currently, Smt. Usha Thorat, Deputy Governor, RBI is the Chairperson of the CAC while Shri V. S. Das, Executive Director, RBI is the Vice-Chairperson. Dr. Y. S. P. Thorat, Chairman, NABARD, Shri M. V. Nair, CMD, Union Bank of India, Dr. K. C. Chakrabarty, CMD, Indian Bank, Dr. Nachiket Mor, Deputy Managing Director, ICICI Bank Ltd., Shri D. Krishna, Chief Executive, National Federation of Urban Cooperative Banks and Credit Societies, Shri B. Subrahmanyam, MD, National Federation of State Co-operative Banks, Shri Deepak Singhal, CGM, HRDD, RBI and Shri Sandip Ghose, Principal & CGM, CAB, RBI are the members of the CAC.

The day-to-day functioning of the CAB is overseen by the Principal in the grade of a Chief General Manager who is also the Member-Secretary of the CAC and is assisted by a Vice-Principal in the grade of a General Manager. Presently, Shri Sandip Ghose is the Principal and Shri R. L. Sharma is the Vice-Principal. The faculties are drawn from the senior and middle management cadre of the RBI through a comprehensive selection process.
